Koert van Oosten claimed a second victory in Gerwen (Netherlands). After an hour of cycling, the rider from Gouda was the fastest of three leaders on his Cervélo S3. Last week, Van Oosten won his first race of this season in Essen (Belgium). Also youth rider Noël Rokven became first last Easter weekend.

“The course suited me well”, Koert van Oosten told after his victory in Gerwen. “It was selective and therefore perfect for attackers like me. Despite that, I didn’t feel great at the start of the race. Fortunately, I became better during the race. As with my first victory in Essen, I could escape with two riders in the final. Eventually, I became first in the sprint. I like those challenging races.”
