The Cervélo-GOODZO Development Team is ready for the new season. Edwald Martijn’s team traveled recently to Calpe from the 26th of February to the 5th of March. Under the Spanish sun, the team managed to train a lot. “I’m looking forward to this debut year”, performance advisor Wim Verhagen says.

The team’s management created a stable formation in a short time. “I think we can be proud of that”, sports advisor Wim Verhagen declares. “We had to arrange a lot in a short period of time, which was anything but easy. Fortunately, we made a lot of progress. Of course, it will still take some time to get used to each oter, but I’m convinced that this project will be a success.”

Most riders have already started their season. “The boys showed they’re ready for it at the training camp in Calpe”, sports director Mario Poldervaart states. “I expect top ten classifications and maybe even podium spots in big races from our U19 riders. As far as the U17 riders are concerned, I hope they will develop well at this team. In any case, we have certainly some riders who can even win a classic.”
